About the program
In collaboration with Mendeleev University, the program delivers highly educated specialists with deep academic and innovative backgrounds. Students of the program learn to tackle current and future challenges in energy production, conversion and storage. The curriculum is designed to focus on applied materials chemistry, which is required by economic and technological development.
Mode, duration 4 years (full-time)
Diploma Students of the program receive two diplomas: from Skoltech and from Mendeleev University
Language Courses at Skoltech are taught entirely in English
The aim of the program is to foster a new generation of STEM leaders in applied chemistry of innovative materials, who are currently in demand on the Russian market, and hold a skillset to develop applied solutions for energy conversion and storage technologies, and such fields as batteries, photovoltaics, electrocatalysts, semiconductors, etc.

Every program dedicates time for students' independent research as a core part of their curriculum. Skoltech hosts over 40 world-class laboratories. Students have full access to the facilities throughout their studies and can conduct research based on their interests.
